Another three points makes it seven points won out of the last nine available and, for the time being, ensures Luton occupy one of the play-off places.

Next up is a tough away trip to take on second place Sheffield United, next weekend.

The game, against Swansea City, was settled by a goal from Carlton Morris, our top scorer, who notched number fourteen for the season.

Following the final whistle, our gaffer, who always tells it as it is, had this to say to the local BBC

“Swansea give you a different challenge to pretty much everyone else in the league, they and Burnley are completely dominant normally in games.

“I don’t think we allowed them to be completely dominant today. First half we had a lot of territory, a lot of goalmouth action, and I am a little disappointed we only got one goal.

“Then they begin to get their game going and it’s been a really hard week for us. We probably lacked a bit of energy but to get over the line is very pleasing. I still thought we had some big chances.

“It’s a big, big win for us. We’ll enjoy the moment for a little bit and go again very soon.”

I read somewhere, before the game, that Swansea have had, possession wise, the second most in the Championship but fail to turn that possession into victories.

Like Rob said, Luton, at times nullified that possession statistic but also like Rob said, could have done with a second goal to settle our nerves, but I’m sure you’ll join me when I say I’d happily settle for 1-0 every week if it gave us a chance of a shot at the Premier League.

I haven’t checked that, I’ll work on an article about the predictions later, although Sunderland, without Ross Stewart appear to have hit a brick wall whilst Coventry City are putting a run together, still all to play for!

      5/8 last week… 5/8 this week…
Consistently average… Luckily Prutton is the benchmark for poor predictions 🙂
