This afternoon, the Hatters will be looking to make it three wins, on the bounce, when they travel to Yorkshire, to take on Huddersfield Town.

After fine wins against Norwich City (h) and Queens Park Rangers (a), the Luton support are hopeful Rob Edwards can guide their team to a play-off place.

But what do the form guides tell us to expect?

Since Rob Edwards arrival, Luton have taken 6 points out of a possible 9, while in the last 5 games, they’ve amassed 7 points out of 15 with a run of form that reads LDLWW.

As for Huddersfield, who sit, at the time of writing, in 22nd place in the Championship table, they also enter this fixture on the back of two victories after a poor run of form.

Indeed, in their last 5 games they’ve also amassed 7 points out of the last 15 available, with a run of form that reads DLLWW, which indicates, despite the large difference in league positions, it could be a tight game.

However, the Hatters support, buoyed by those victories against Norwich City and QPR, are, in our poll, confident of success with 73% going for a Luton victory, with 18% going for a draw and only 9% opting for a Huddersfield Town win.

As for me, I reckon this fixture will see Luton get revenge for the play-off defeat, at the hands of Huddersfield last season, winning 2-1, let’s hope I’m right.

But how do you see this one ending?
