Luton Support And One Other Confident Of A Luton Win At Preston

Wednesday evening sees the Hatters on the road for a third consecutive fixture, with Preston North End being the opposition.

For such a long trip, after away fixtures at Grimsby Town and Coventry City, it’ll be interesting to see how many of the faithful make the pilgrimage to Deepdale.

But after not winning any of the last two fixtures, Grimsby Town (FA Cup) and Coventry City (EFL Championship) it’ll be interesting to see if Rob Edwards can reverse that trend and send his charges out to bring the three points back to Bedfordshire.

Ahead of the game, the results of our regular pre-match poll, indicate that the faithful are confident the Hatters can maintain their push for an EFL Championship play-off place with 64% of the votes cast being for a Luton win.

Indeed, only a meagre 10% reckon it will be a sullen trip back south with the game lost while the other 26% reckon the honours will be shared.

But what does Sky Sports resident Championship expert, David Prutton reckon the result will be?

Well, following on from his spot-on prediction for the away fixture against Coventry City, Prutton reckons the Hatters will win 1-0.

Personally, I’d take that even if it does mean another nail-biting evening.
