Luton – Sluga And The Clean Sheets Conundrum

It seems that our favourite subject this week has been our Croatian goalkeeper, Simon Sluga.

Several articles relating to our goalkeeper have been published this week, the latest being – luton-support-praises-sluga.

But, with the week drawing to a close, we have one more article on our shot-stopper to bring you.

Earlier this week we asked, via our poll facility, the following question:

How Many Clean Sheets Will Sluga Keep This Season?

We gave you three options to choose from:

Below 10
Between 11 and 20
More than 21

With three games of the 2021/2022 season, Sluga has already kept two clean sheets, against Peterborough United (h) and Barnsley (a), a clean sheet percentage of 66%, but is that something that can be maintained?

If it can then the 6% who opted for More Than 21 will have hit the jackpot and Sluga would, more than likely, pick up the golden glove for the Championship.

But, it seems, when it comes to predicting clean sheets the majority, some 71% favour Sluga keeping between 11 and 20 this season.

The remaining 23% are not so optimistic though, predicting that Sluga will keep Below 10 this season.

As for my view, I am with the majority, I reckon our Croatian stopper will keep between 11 and 20, probably around the 15 mark.
