Trinidad and Tobago striker Dwight Yorke has been cited as a possible transfer target for Luton.

The 34-year-old, who won Premiership and Champions League winners medals at Manchester United, has been playing for Sydney FC, in Australia.

Yorke has been training at Manchester United in recent weeks in an attempt to improve his fitness for the World Cup, and it is said that he fancies another stint in England.

Luton are said to be favourites for his signature, with International team mate Carlos Edwards already at the club.

That is always assuming that Luton are not forced to part with Carlos, if another club offers silly money for him in the summer.
