A goal in each half proved enough to give the Town Reserves yet another victory, this time against the roaming franchisees.

Anton Robinson almost opened the scoring after five minutes with a smart shot from a free kick, which just went wide of the post.

uton seemed in control, but the Dons came into the game more as the half wore on, and Zach Barrett was tested by a Morley shot but he saved it well, tipping it around the post. From the corner a header from Murphy caused no problems.

Morley might have scored soon afterwards when his shot beat Barrett but the post came to Luton?s rescue.

In the 32nd minute Robert Sinclair found Ryan Charles in the box, and he coolly lobbed the MK keeper Webb for the first goal.

In the second half MK continued to test the Luton defence and were unlucky when a Tapp fizzer was just held by Barrett. However, it was the Town who netted shortly afterwards. Danny Mead got in a great cross to the far post and Joe Selby struck a sweet volley into the net.

Luton sat on the two goal lead without looking too uncomfortable but when Baldock played a 1-2 with England to get clear in the box, he made no mistake, slamming the ball past Barrett to set up a nervy last ten minutes. Luton just held on despite a valiant effort by the home side to create an equaliser.

Luton remain undefeated in the league and top of the table.
