Earlier today, here at Vital Luton Town, we covered the emergency loan signing of Alex Palmer.

In our article – Luton-forced-to-sign-new-goalkeeper-amid-injury-crisis – we dithered over whether Alex Palmer or Harry Isted would start, in the fixture at Middlesbrough this afternoon.

Personally, I thought that after his display against Chelsea, Nathan Jones should stick with Harry Isted.

However, it appears that, according to the EFL rule book, Nathan has very little choice regarding the matter, as the following post shows:

Let’s just hope that those in charge of such matters, at Kenilworth Road, are aware of this ruling, otherwise it could be embarrassing.

It could mean, with Palmer between the sticks, there might be a few awkward moments during the early stages of the game as he gets used to those playing just in front of him.

But does anyone else, feel for Harry Isted, who has done nothing wrong?
