Luton – Opinions Are Very Much Divided

In a little over 24 hours’ time, at the time of writing, Luton Town and Watford will be going head-to-head in their first league clash, at Kenilworth Road, for 15 years.

After losing the reciprocating game, at Vicarage Road, earlier this season, the Hatters support will be hoping their side can redress the balance this weekend.

But with Watford being the form team, having won 7 of their last 8 fixtures, here at Vital Luton Town, we recognise the Hatters face a stiff task to get three points from this game.

If Nathan Jones side are to take the three points, they cannot afford to start as slow as they have done so many times this season and they certainly cannot afford to concede an early goal.

With no supporters inside the ground home advantage is somewhat negated but the team will know what is expected of them, three points and bragging rights are the order of the day.

Looking at our match day poll, it is noticeable that those who frequent this site are not as sure as they usually are when it comes to predicting the result.

Only 42% expect Luton Town to emerge as victors with 40% believing or rivals will take the three points and move a step closer to promotion, with the remaining 18% believing the spoils of war will be shared.

Personally, I have this gut feeling Luton will rise to the occasion and will win 2-1, but what do you believe the final score will be?
