With the team sheet revealed for the FA Cup 3rd round replay, away to Wigan Athletic, concerns were expressed relating to Carlton Morris.
Our top scorer was conspicuous by his absence not only from the starting XI but also from the substitutes bench.
It turns out, according to the official Luton Twitter the striker has a slight calf strain.
However, the more suspicious among the social media fraternity suspect there may be another reason for his absence:
Ahh the old Transfer window strain 😉

While another has already put a price tag on his head:
GBP 5M inbound 🤑

Me, I prefer to believe the official line and that Morris will be in the starting XI, come Saturday against Wigan Athletic, and will also still be with the Hatters come the end of the January transfer window.
Is that a view you concur with, or would you beg to differ?

It’s a precaution. He is needed for saturday
he has only been with us for a while, and people are selling him off. i think it would have to be a massive offer ,but you never know.COYH.
H e might go as he has proved himself to be a first class striker but please not Southampton
Unfortunately with Power Court being continually pushed back we aren’t a glamorous place to work.so a glamour club might attract him.
