Luton: Morgan at Leeds

Dean Morgan has confirmed that Luton Town and Leeds United have agreed a fee for the hit and miss striker.

Dean was due to discuss personal terms this morning but said that he expects to be a Leeds player by Monday evening.

Dean needs to get his act into gear and realise that to have the talent for a career as a professional footballer is a gift. However, as with many gifts it comes with a responsibility – to work hard, train hard and give 100% when out on the field.

I don’t know how he fares in the first two, but he has too often failed to produce the great skill he sometimes showed on a regular basis, and his body language often left fans feeling that he wasn’t too bothered.

I wish him well if he joins Leeds, and hope that he doesn’t continue to be the ‘almost man’ failing to achieve his potential.
