Luton – Mixed Views After Second Consecutive Home Draw

Has it all just gone a little Pete Tong in recent games or are we still bubbling along nicely?

The reason I ask is that since we were tanked by Watford we’ve yet to register a win, having drawn the two home games since, against Sunderland and Reading and, in the process, scoring just the solitary goal.

Two points, from the last six available, especially when those two games were both at home, is far from play-off qualifying form but, if you look at our run of results going back to before the disastrous Watford game, our form is decent with just two defeats in fourteen games.

But, still, the Hatters support do not appear to be a happy bunch, taking to social media to vent their spleens.

As far as last goes, and the 0-0 draw with Reading, some, like me, are questioning the Hatters taking just two points from the last six available:

While others are bemoaning the quality of football we are currently playing:

I’d imagine one priority is the sickness bug that has been rife in the camp.

While others are jumping on the official’s bandwagon:

True, we’ve had our fair share of poor officials, but you must deal with the hand you’ve been dealt.

But while many are moaning about their pint glass being half empty, one gentleman, I believe, sums it up perfectly, with his pint half full philosophy:

It’s the beauty of supporting Luton Town, now we can all look forward t a trip to the seaside this weekend and a chance to get back to winning ways.

Morning mh, my immediate concern is the injury list of defenders growing. For me I say we must sign Hector now. And even if not fully fit needs must play him. We have nothing to lose an more to gain. Njs past record snods worked out. So let’s give Hector a go. He may falter to start but so did naismith given time an he may blossom. Or he could surprise an be a real asset from the start. What have we got lose at the moment nothing. I wonder what others think?

why is petit on the bench. has he earned his chance. is he trusted to perform. for f#cks sake play him, give them a chance. what have we got to lose. as for the man of the match, i will reserve judgment till a later date. suggest people are looking throufg rose coloured glasses. thought we played well against reading and the referee. these refs are allowing players to get serious injury with there inconsistentsy. do they ever get reprimanded?COYH.

As I commented before the game jimbo I suspect that sickness an injury may have forced nj to pick Watson an pettit nothing more. They probably wouldn’t have been on the bench otherwise.
