Luton Linked With Move For Jamaican Defender

Transfer speculation, relating to Luton Town, continues to be less than I thought it would be.

But then again perhaps I should take into account that the transfer window doesn’t actually open until the back end of next week.

However, one piece of speculation, courtesy of Football Insider 24/7, has popped up this morning.

According to our referenced source, the Hatters are set to join the race to sign the Swansea City defender, Joel Latibeaudiere.

Latibeaudiere is available on a free transfer, with his contract having expired and the 23-year-old centre back could bolster our squad.

However, Luton Town, according to our source, are not the only team said to be interested in the Jamaican international with Burnley having sought a deal back in the January transfer window.

Now, with Luton intent on not betraying their prudent financial policy, Latibeaudiere could be an ideal signing, but, as it’s just pure speculation at the moment, I’ll rate the chances, currently, of the player joining the Hatters as a 3 out of 10.

But if he does sign, I’ll not be the first supporter to start the chant:

“Give us an L”
“Give us an A”
“Give us a T”

It’d take all day!

Hi mh, I’d put this in the same class as dremah. Young talent just what our transfer team look for an as I said about taking dremah even on loan. Whilst he’s possibly a full signing a season in the prem to see if he makes the grade an even if we get relegated it would stand him an us in good stead for a push for promotion again. So would be a win win . Therefore a good thing if it happens.

Hey MH, had a funny thought.
After the years we have had of dreaming for an EPL money spinning FA cup draw on our many forays… I wonder what the reaction will be from the team fortunate enough to draw Luton in the 3rd round this year?
    🤣
