Transfer speculation, relating to Luton Town, has started to emerge from a variety of sources.
The latest we, here at Vital Luton Town, relates to a move for a goal scoring midfielder.
According to the Daily Mail, Luton are among a host of clubs who are being linked with the 21-year-old AFC Wimbledon midfielder, Jack Rondini.
Rondini, in his 41 appearances for AFC Wimbledon netted 12 goals and was named the clubs player of the 2021/2022 season.
But, while I’d love to see Rondini in a Hatters shirt, I don’t see it being that likely.
According to our source, AFC Wimbledon have already rejected offers from Sunderland and Huddersfield for the player, bids that are said to be worth more than £1,000,000.
Also, reading the article, a host of interested clubs are mentioned but the Hatters don’t get a mention until the last couple of lines of the text, kind of like an after thought.
On a scale of 1 to 10, with 10 being a high possibility the deal will go through, I’d have to give this one just 2 out of 10 and I think that might be being generous.
But what are your feelings on this deal?
