No matter how much you try and dress it up, a defeat is a defeat. In such circumstances, it is important to try and extract positives from a loss.
Yesterday, in the 2-1 defeat at the hands of AFC Bournemouth, there were plenty of positives to take on another occasion we could, despite being 2-0 down, have taken something from the game.
If our first-half performance had of matched the grit and determination we showed in the second half, we could have taken all three points but at least one, as recognised by a tweet from a fan of the south coast side:
Great 2nd half by you guys. A draw would have been a fair result. Also big respect for your fans

But, delving into the world of social media, not being able to generate a 90-minute performance is causing the Hatters support concern and something that Nathan Jones needs to urgently address:
Luton only play well for 45 minutes town.

Next match I dare you to play both half’s the same! Not crap though…

why can't we play well for 90 minutes

That failing is one of the reasons we are having to scrap for points, on too many occasions we are emerging for the second half with a mountain to climb and on the rare occasion we put in a decent first forty-five minutes, against Swansea City, we had a very poor second forty-five minutes.
Supporting Luton, it would seem, remains a head scratching experience.
But, come Wednesday, we will all be up for it again:
We can put it right weds.

Three points please Luton, we are owed a 90-minute performance are we not?
