For Luton supporters, the Easter weekend break has started in fine style, in fact it couldn’t have started better.

Nottingham Forest rode into town, boasting a good run of form that had seen them win their last FIVE Championship games, to face a Luton side that hadn’t won any of their last THREE.

But, as we have proven on many a time, you write Luton Town off at your peril.

Although we are, at times, inconsistent, you just know that we rise to occasions like yesterday.

The game may not have been the most fluent, but our character and determination saw us through, although there were a few scares towards the end of the second half.

Yes, Shea did have a huge game, a save, in the first half, from Grabben, was certainly impressive and prevented a goal and the keeper remained confident and assured as Forest pressed for an equaliser in the second half.

But perhaps a point we must make is summed up below:

Our injury list is more noticeable because of the relatively, compared to the big boys of the Championship, relatively small but ahead of the game Nathan did point out he only had one fit central midfielder to call upon, which makes the victory all the more remarkable.
