Luton – Fred Is Your Main Man

Last week, as we continued our build-up to what was to turn out to be a disappointing day out, at Deepdale, a social media comment prompted an intriguing poll.

With the Hatters having been extremely active in the summer transfer market, I noticed that several social media comments were, on the back of his performances, suggesting Amari’i Bell was looking like he was the best signing of last summer.

Naturally, I just had to put that suggestion to the test.

However, with our poll framework restricted to just four options, I was limited to who I could include.

But with poll titled:

Best Signing Of The Summer So Far Is?

The four options I chose were:

Fred Onyedinma
Amari’i Bell
Allan Campbell
Henri Lansbury

The results proved to be interesting!

In fourth place came Allan Campbell with 6% of the votes cast, unfortunately, Campbell’s progress at Kenilworth Road has been hampered by injuries.

In third place came Henri Lansbury, who polled 18% of the votes cast.

Which meant it was a close tussle between Amari’i Bell and Fred Onyedinma for the top two places with Onyedinma just shading it with 39% of the votes cast compared to the 37% who voted for Bell.

Therefore, with under a third of the 2021/2022 season completed, your view is that Fred Onyedinma is proving to be our best signing of last summer, but, as the season progresses, could that change?

Please feel free to have your say, on the subject matter, in the comment facility beneath this article.

i have spoken many times regarding pelly ruddocks lack of effort into games. i am now totally embarassed that he keeps getting picked. he was like a rabbit in a cars headlights, not a f##king clue. not sure about jerome, not what i expected from an experienced centre forward. dare i mention pereira, when he is fit. sometimes you just have to keep banging your head against that brick wall.COYH.
