In the eighth of our series, covering the clubs listed below and how I believe the promotion shake up will end, it is time to feature Millwall.
• AFC Bournemouth
• Luton Town
• Huddersfield Town
• Sheffield United
• Blackburn Rovers
• Middlesbrough
• Queens Park Rangers
• Nottingham Forest
• Millwall
• Coventry
• West Bromwich Albion
Yesterday we covered – Nottingham Forest – and with Luton Town being left to last, let’s look how the season, I believe, will pan out for Millwall, who currently sit in 10th place in the Championship table.
Millwall have played 38 games, the same as Luton and have accumulated 57 points, 6 fewer than Luton.
With 8 games left, Millwall enter the final phase of the season with a record, in their last 5 games reading – WDDWL – meaning they have accumulated 8 points from the last 15 available.
Their final 8 games are as thus:
• Luton Town (a)
• Swansea City (h)
• Barnsley (h)
• Preston North End (a)
• Hull City (h)
• Birmingham City (a)
• Peterborough United (h)
• AFC Bournemouth (a)
4 home games and 4 away games with 2 of those 8 games coming against promotion rivals, including a trip to Kenilworth Road.
With 24 points available to play for, my view is that Millwall will earn a further 13 points, 4 wins, 1 draw and 3 losses, this season, leaving them with a total of 70 points, but will that be enough to clinch a play-off place, only time will tell.

Luton – The Alan Adair Life Story
I struggle to see how we would cope in the Premiership untill Power Court is built !
Unless the TV money from year 1 went on new players & salaries, with the probable relegation ensuing , earning a few more years of Parachute payments which could go towards what must be Massive inflating building costs of Power Court ?
