Luton Fans Not Happy With QPR Ticket Situation

The last fixture, of 2022, for Luton Town sees the Hatters make the short trip into West London to take on Queens Park Rangers.

It is a fixture that has, in the past, been infamous for producing incidents, off the pitch, that generate newspaper headlines of the wrong sort, we only have to recall the events of last season.

However, this time around, it appears that steps have been taken to reduce the amount of Luton fans that will be able to attend the fixture, at Loftus Road.

It seems Luton Town have only been given 1709 seat tickets for the game and they are priced at £36 for adults.

From what I can work out, Luton supporters will only be allowed to use the top tier of the away end, with the lower tier remaining empty.

The ploy has not gone down well with Luton supporters on social media, with comments left about the ‘few’ tickets on sale and the price:

Indeed, it is, the festive period is a time when grounds should be rocking, not half empty!

Continuing:

It’ll be interesting to see if, following the outrage, Luton manage to sell their complete allocation.

Personally, I hope they do, if they don’t there is the prospect of it being cut further next season.

Are you still going to Queens Park Rangers or are you miffed with the allocation or cost?

Frankly mh, the trip to London for qpr is just not worth the hassle treated like cattle from the moment you arrive abused and bullied by the met police stg stormtroopers. Deliberately led by them into qpr traps an showered in urine. No wonder they an us are so full of hatred for each other.

Personally fed up about being treated like shit by qpr and west London’s Met. That, coupled with the probable situation on the trains and the ridiculous cost means I’m likely to pass this time.

The bitter part of me hopes we reduce their allocation, jack their prices up and our police and stewards make them queue till about 25 minutes into the first half when we next play them at home. The nice bit of me wants to prove to them how a decent club treats away fans.

    Agree with Jim!
I must admit I haven’t really had much hassle there from the met but more recently I’ve gone to Hammersmith before and after the game and stayed away from the bush.
It’s more about the price. Can’t justify 36 quid plus train and other costs!
It will probably be the first away game at qpr that I’ve missed since they went plastic!
