After knocking out Cambridge United, in the 4th round of the FA Cup, the Hatters support were eagerly awaiting the 5th round draw this morning.
After beating Cambridge United, Nathan Jones had suggested he didn’t want to face a fellow Championship side, in the fifth round – boss-wants-premier-league-side-in-round-five
And Nathan was to get his wish!
The ties were drawn by Andy Cole, the former Newcastle and Manchester United striker.
Luton came out of the hat first to take on Chelsea, the current Champions League winners.
The ties will be played over the week commencing Monday 28th February, a change from the traditional weekends set aside for the greatest domestic cup competition in the world.
We await to see which ties will be televised but ours will, surely, be one of them.
