Luton – Championship Club Considering Recruiting Rob Edwards

Well, that is a headline that will grab your attention I’m guessing, but what is it all about?

I’ll enlighten you!

According to the following source – Leeds United News – following the short, interim, reign of Sam Allardyce, Leeds United are looking for yet another manager.

Our source has the cheek to suggest that Rob Edwards could well be on their radar and might be willing to drop back into the EFL Championship to steer the fading giant back into the big-time.

The article also has the temerity to suggest Cody Drameh, who had a successful loan spell with Luton Town, would be willing to stay at Elland Road if Edwards were to take charge.

So, what are my feelings on the subject matter?

Basically, I think it is all a load of poppycock!

Edwards has worked bus butt off get Luton Town promoted, he’s brought into the long-term plans of the club and has never hinted that he sees his future lying elsewhere.

On our famous rating of speculation trail, where 10 is a certainty for it to happen and 0 is an instant dismissal, I’ll grade this rumour as a 0, not a chance you once mighty whites!

Please feel free to air your views on the temerity of this outrageous suggestion in the comment facility beneath this article.

Expected I guess. But why would he go to a smaller club?😊

Why would anyone work at Leeds? Got to be one of the worst set ups ever. Sacking managers as if they were paper boys, no respect for anyone.
The fans have been unruly for years. The way they acted in the 1970/80s stopped me going to matches for over 30 years ( also Chelsea fans).
If we were still in championship that’s one match I would never go to.

Total bollocks it had the temerity to say that we would sack him if things were going wrong an it would look bad on his CV.Now I think we all agree that we may struggle next season but we an I’m sure that the board also won’t be bothered an hell will freeze over before he will be sacked.

A better bet might be Rob Edwards as a future England manager.

    Hopeful Leeds journalist
    No substance 😎

Don’t Leeds know Nathan Jones is available? By his own admission he’s one of the top managers in Europe. They better be quick or a top top club will beat them to it. It seems Reading have had a lucky escape.
