When it comes to the raft of signings made last summer, by Luton Town, I guess we all have our favourite.
Indeed, it is fair to say that the two loan players have also muddied the water when it comes to nominating the best signing so far.
But, after the victory against Swansea City, on Saturday, support is growing for Alfie Doughty to be awarded that crown.
Our attacking wing back was certainly appreciated, for his most recent performance, on social media:
Player of the season so far Alfie for me, keep it up. 😍

Premiership class. A proper wing-back.

You've been a great signing. Keep it up.

It’s interesting to recall that when the previous incumbent of the managerial hot seat signed Doughty, from Stoke City, I was warned that he was injury prone but, thankfully, although Alfie has had a few minor injuries, there has been nothing serious.
Indeed, he has shown that his pace and crossing ability are second to none in our current squad and, as we close in on a play-off place, his presence in the side will be most valuable.
But, as for being the best signing, I’ll wait a little longer before offering my thoughts, but please feel free to have your say in the comment facility beneath this article.

To be fair all the new signings have been ok some we haven’t seen enough of in the team to do justice.but have improved the squad an that’s good.
i think nakamba has been a good signing. he just gets on with his job, you don’t really notice his contribution in a game, but he doe’s a lot. COYH.
