Representatives of the Luton Town 2020 Ltd consortium are meeting with Administrator Brendan Guilfoyle today in what Mick Harford has described as a ‘significant meeting’.
As the deadline for exchange of contracts (27 February 2008)moves closer, 2020 has reported recently that they are ahead of schedule, so it is not unreasonable to speculate that this may be the meeting to sign those contracts.
2020 have always been adamant that they will conclude the purchase of the club and this week paid another considerable sum of money into the club so that the players could be paid some of their outstanding wages. This is not the action of a group who were not confident of the outcome.
