Keeping Kovacs?

This time next week, after the Grimsby game on Friday evening, Janos Kovacs could be gone.

His one month loan spell will be up and if Luton cannot convince Hereford to let him stay for another month, we`ll be without his services.

Talking about the player, to the local media, Gary Brabin hasn`t ruled out either option, of keeping him or of letting him go, remarking,

“It is something we`d be interested in doing.”

“We spoke to Janos as well but at the moment we don`t want to be going into it too much. He`s still got games coming up and during his last week we`ll have to touch base with Hereford and see where they are, because they had a change of personnel behind the scenes at their club.”

“Janos has come in and done very well. He looks as if he`s enjoying his football and he`ll be a good asset for us if we could extend that.”

“It`s like anything. He`s back playing regular football, playing good football and it increase the stakes. He`s Hereford`s player and we`ve got him for a month, but at the end of the day, he`s still owned by Hereford. That`s going to be Hereford`s decision.”

Personally, I`d love the Hungarian to stay, I think he`s been a great influence and has a lot more to give!
