The news broke before our FA Cup triumph over Hendon that a deal had been done to keep the Hungarian defender at Kenilworth Road.
Hereford United have agreed that Kovacs can stay on loan, with Luton, until January 1st.
At that point Luton have an option to purchase the player.
Classified as an emergency loan, the decision to buy has to be made as an emergency loan period cannot exceed 93 days.
As for the size of a possible fee, who knows!
