Back in the January transfer window, or was it the summer transfer window, there was a rumour doing the rounds that Luton were interested in bringing Gary Doherty back to Kenilworth Road.
Well, as you all know, nothing materialised but Doherty continues to ply his trade and his latest club are Wycombe Wanderers, for whom Gary scored, on his debut, as they thrashed Hartlepool 5-0, no doubt giving Jeff Stelling a hard time!
Now 32, don`t give up hope on seeing Doherty one-day return to Kenilworth Road, we certainly haven`t!
