Former Luton Boss Takes New Job With Championship Rivals

Axed by Luton Town, back in May, as he Hatters hierarchy sought to halt the plummet back into League One, Graeme Jones is now back in work.

Jones, now 50-years-of-age, has been appointed to the Bournemouth coaching staff and will assist their new manager, Jason Tindall, as the Cherries look for a quick return to the Premier League.

While in charge of the Hatters, Jones won just 12 out of 41 games.

Tindall, on giving Jones a gateway back into football has, according to The BBC, remarked:

“I am also delighted to bring Graeme to the club. His pedigree is unquestionable and that experience and expertise can only stand us in good stead going forward.”

The appointment does, of course, mean our paths will cross again with both clubs in the Championship.

I wonder what kind of reception Graeme Jones will get from the Kenilworth Road faithful!
