As John Still prepares to take his squad to the Abbey Stadium, to take on Cambridge United, we have some early squad news.

Alex Lawless is still unavailable, with the player still recuperating from injury and Ronnie Henry is likely to sit the game out as he will be used sparingly between now and the end of the season, courtesy of the hernia problem that needs operating on.

Scott Griffiths is also likely to be missing from the squad with it being acknowledged that he`s a fortnight away from full fitness, even though he played 90 minutes in a development match against Charlton in midweek.

As for the five that were told that their contracts will not be renewed in the summer, it`ll be interesting to see if the likes of Fleetwood and Kovacs play any part between now and the end of the season.

Also out of contention are Wayne Hughes and Greg Taylor who both left Kenilworth Road, on loan, yesterday, whilst the perennially injured duo of Garry Richards and Danny Spiller not pull on a Hatters shirt this season.

With regards to Arnaud Mendy, having been placed on the transfer list, it`ll be interesting to see if he features between now and the end of the season as well.

It kind of makes you wonder just how big our squad has grown!
