The big moment is almost upon us, after a three decade absence, the Hatters are back in the top-flight of English football, taking on Brighton.

It has been a monumental story, sinking down the league ladder and ending up in non-league football before climbing all the way back up into the big time.

Of course, most pundits are tipping Luton Town’s stay in the Premier League to be a short one, just one season being the pundits verdict.

But, we’re a resolute club and it wouldn’t surprise me in the least if we were to shock quite a few people and retain our top-flight status.

Brighton are our opposition today, a tough fixture against a side that had a great season last time out, despite losing their respected manager, Graham Potter, early on in the season.

This afternoon, the Hatters will be cheered on by a vociferous away support, having had no problem selling out their allocation of 3001 tickets.

With the kick-off looming large, we are now abl to bring you the confirmed team sheets.

Starting with our hosts, Brighton and Hove Albion:

Continuing with Luton Town:

As for those officiating, look no further:

Referee – David Coote
Assistant Referee – Mark Scholes
Assistant Referee – Timothy Wood
Fourth Official – John Busby
VAR – Robert Jones
Assistant VAR – Wade Smith

Can the Hatters get a result at the American Express Stadium, well I’ve got my fingers crossed.
