It seems that having a striker who has now gone 30 games without scoring doesn`t faze Gary Brabin.
Craig McAllister, signed in the January transfer window, played 26 times for Newport this season without hitting the net and has made 4 appearances for Luton suffering a similar fate.
But Gary Brabin isn`t hitting the panic button and has had the following to say to the local media,
“We know Craig, we know what he`s capable of. We haven`t bought him here solely to score goals, he adds another dimension.”
“I thought the first half on Tuesday was one of the brighter bits of the game.”
“We always want more goals, but he`s doing a lot more than scoring goals. Craig has started two games.”
“I`m not interested in what he`s done at Newport. I`m interested in what he`s done here.”
But I bet Gray will jump as high as the rest of us when McAllister finally hits the target!
