On Saturday, the Kenilworth Road faithful were stunned when Luton Town were beaten, comprehensively, by Swindon Town.

Matters started to go downhill when Scott Cuthbert, against a former club, was shown a straight red-card after denying Swindon a goal-scoring opportunity with a tug of a shirt.

However, losing 3-0 was a body blow and one from which the Hatters must recover from quickly.

Tonight, Luton Town have another home fixture when they welcome Port Vale to Kenilworth Road.

But, before we can concentrate fully on the visit of Port Vale, we need to seek closure on our coverage of the Swindon Town game by announcing who you, the Vital Luton Town membership, voted for as your man-of-the-match.

Two candidates emerged as front-runners, Scott Cuthbert and Dan Potts, although the former may well have benefitted from the symphony vote.

As it turned out, it was to be Dan Potts that took the man-of-the-match accolade with 33% of the votes cast.

Thank you for your participation.

Our latest poll asks you to vote for the outcome of the Port Vale fixture tonight.
