Wholesale Changes And A Win Please Luton

|

After the disappointment of two defeats on the bounce, both courtesy of lacklustre performances, the Hatters support are hoping things will change when Millwall visit Kenilworth Road tonight.

Ahead of the game, here at Vital Luton Town, we ran a couple of polls designed to gauge your opinion.

The first, entitled:

Would You Make Wholesale Changes For The Millwall Game?

picked up on the growing unrest relating to Nathan Jones team selections.

Your response inferred that you do want to see big changes to those selected for the starting XI with a massive 76% going down that route, with only 24% wanting things left as they are.

What remains to be seen is whether Nathan does make wholesale changes or gives those who have under-performed another chance.

Please let it be the latter!

The second poll simply asked you to pick the outcome of the game and the outcome was close with 36% of the view Luton Town will win while 37% think our visitors, Millwall, will come out on top, with the remaining 27% believing the honours will be shared.

Let us hope the 36% are right.

Hi mh, having looked back at the teams selected when we have played poorly I make it 5 games. It seems to me that no matter who is selected makes me believe that the problem is possibly 1 of 2 things. First that they can’t put the tactics supposed to be used into operating and no one is capable of taking the game by the scruff of the neck on the field an sorting it. An secondly. Could it be the players just don’t trust the tactics any more or as we suspect players aren’t good enough

I know what it is, It’s my fault.

Before lockdown , on match days I used to wear my lucky socks and just found them in the back of my wardrobe.
I am wearing them today, so I predict a 2-0 win for Luton tonight.
Everyone should wear their lucky pants or socks, lets get a win tonight 🙂

I’ve got my lucky Istanbul taxi drivers jock strap on for a Millwall victory

The issue with Luton is that there are 3 players in particular who are just not up to Championship level yet get selected week in week out by a stubborn manager who refuses to change a losing side. Even the 1-0 wins have been hard to watch, Rea is the biggest liability for the team yet NJ keeps the faith…why?

James Collins a good club man and seems a good guy however how many chances has he missed this season which if taken would have resulted in more wins and points higher league position. Sorry James
