Luton are back in action this afternoon when they take on West Bromwich Albion, at the Hawthorns, in their second fixture of the new Championship season.
Last weekend, the Hatters got off to a fine start against newly promoted Peterborough United, emerging emphatic 3-0 winners.
However, the fixture, this afternoon, appears to be a lot harder on paper with West Bromwich Albion looking to make an instant return to a Premier League they were participating in last season.
In midweek, Nathan Jones made 10 changes for the Carabao Cup tie against Stevenage, a ploy that backfired with the Hatters exiting the competition after a dismal performance in the penalty shoot-out that followed the 2-2 draw.
Today, here at Vital Luton Town, we expect the starting XI to resemble that selected against Peterborough than that selected against Stevenage.
Ahead of the game and revisiting our poll relating to the outcome, we find that 32% favour a Luton win, 28% see the home side winning but the largest proportion of votes cast, 40%, have opted for a draw.
With the kick-off fast approaching, we are now able to bring you the team sheets.
Starting with our hosts, West Bromwich Albion:
📋 Team news is in at The Hawthorns.
We make two changes from our opening day clash at AFC Bournemouth, with Sam Johnstone and Matt Clarke both set to start.
