Having taken circa 4,000 supporters to Carrow Road on Saturday, 4,000 who witnessed one of the greatest results in our history, there was never going to be anything similar, in the way of numbers, for the trip to Blundell Park.

Grimsby is not the most inviting of places to visit and when you couple that with the fixture being in midweek and only an FA Trophy match, I guess the motivation, along with the financial implications, mean tthat the travelling support wouldn`t be up to it`s usual standar, number swise, even more so with the long trip to Barrow to come this weekend.

Therefore, here at Vital Luton Town, we salute the 75 who made the long trip to Blundell Park – you are heroes!”
