A return of just one point from our opening two fixtures of the 2018 / 2019 League One season isn’t the start the Hatters support would have liked.
It leaves the Hatters near the bottom of the table just ahead of the few sides that have lost both their opening fixtures.
But, is it already an indication of just how hard a season we could be in for or is it just unfortunate that our opening two fixtures have been against sides who, like ourselves, have ambitions of climbing out of this league?
It could be pointed out that, if the Hatters had taken their chances in both the opening fixtures, instead of lurking at the wrong end of the table we could be sitting pretty at the top!
