There is daylight at the end of the tunnel, the second international break of the season is fast approaching its conclusion.

When it finally does come to an end, the Hatters resume their 2021/2022 Championship campaign with two difficult looking away fixtures in the space of 5 days:

• Saturday 16-October – Millwall (a)

and

• Tuesday 19-October – Derby County (a)

After two consecutive home games, against Coventry City and Huddersfield Town, Luton find themselves sitting in 13th place in the Championship table, four points adrift of a play-off place and six points off the dreaded drop zone.

Our forthcoming two opponents are placed as follows: Millwall 11th place and Derby County 24th.

Millwall are one point ahead of Luton while troubled Derby, having had a points deduction after going into administration, have only 2 points.

On paper, both fixtures look as if the Hatters can get something from them, but how do you see Luton doing?

Hi MD , this weekend can’t come too soon for me , two hard games but there are not many that are easy games but I am hoping for four points from these games and I think we are due a win at Millwall . The way it looks on paper we should lose at Millwall and beat Derby , I feel a win at Millwall and maybe at best a draw with Derby , I would be happy with that . Coyh
