Tranmere Loan Youngster

Tranmere have taken talented youngster Steven O’Leary on loan for a month.

The 20 year old hasn’t figured in manager Mike Newell’s plans so far this season but has made 27 appearances since first breaking through, and the loan deal should give him much needed first team action.

Tranmere boss Brian Little said:

‘He is a talented and versatile midfield player and I am very impressed with his overall play. This gives us temporary cover while Danny Harrison and Jason McAteer are unavailable but we are still looking to bring in players to add to the squad on a long-term basis.’
