That`s the way it is!

Perhaps the manner in which Luton Town slipped to their first defeat in League Two this season can be summed up by the way we didn`t, against AFC Wimbledon, get the rub of the green.

Several times the Kenilworth Road faithful believed that Luton Town should have had a penalty but on each occasion the referee, Oliver Langford, waved our appeals away.

John Still, speaking to the local media after the game, remained philosophical about this after the game, remarking,

“I can moan about lots of things, if we get a penalty we get a penalty, but that wouldn`t take away from the fact we have to make the opportunity work for us.”

“It`s a difficult situation. Everyone tells me we should have had a penalty, even their guy, but it wasn`t and I can`t do anything about it.”

Before retorting that famous mantra of his,

“Control the controllables, here we go again, what can I do about something out of my control.”

Let`s just hope these thing seven themselves out over the course of the season!
