The Same Old Story!

A fourteen point lead, at this stage of the season, should stand Luton Town in good stead to attain that automatic promotion place available.

Our recent run of good form, allied with the dramatic downturn in form suffered by Cambridge United, has the former Luton boss but now Cambridge boss, Richard Money, coming up with some familiar remarks.

Money is harping on about the financial clout Luton apparently have, repeating the mantra,

“I`ve got to be careful with what I say, but, with resource, you can go and get (Jon) Shaw and (Andre) Gray, who are going to win the league for Luton by a country mile.”

“They`re Championship players, of Championship level, and they`re earning a lot more than we can afford to pay.”

Same old story then, same old story!
