Our squad could be on the verge of being boosted by the return of some players who have been out for awhile with injuries.

To assist them with getting back to match fitness, Luton arranged a behind-closed-doors friendly with Wycombe Wanderers.

The Hatters may have lost 1-0 but it gave the likes of George Pilkington, Shane Blackett, Charlie Henry and Coliin Samuel the chance to get some match-minutes under their belts.

Unfortunately, they may not quite be fit enough to face Barrow, this Saturday, but Gary Brabin is hopeful that the injury crisis he`s had to live with will soon become less of a headache with the gaffer commenting to the local media,

“Our injury situation has been well documented and I`ve never used that as an excuse – all we want to try and get over it and get everyone back fit.”

Happy days approaching again!
