Over the Easter weekend I resurrected our Hatter Heroes series.
Having gotten to G I opted to focus on Andre Gray, our free-scoring striker.
Gray, since arriving at Luton, from Hinckley United, has proved to be an inspirational signing. During his time at Kenilworth Road Gray has netted 57 goals in 110 games, a pretty respectable strike rate.
Whilst fears exist that Gray may be the target of bids from Football League clubs for his services, the striker has spoken a few words about achieving promotion with Luton, with Andre remarking to the local press,
“That`s exactly why I came here.”
“I could have ended up at a few other clubs, could have ended up at Grimsby, but as soon as Luton came up, I didn`t want to be anywhere else.”
“It was the best decision I made in my life.
Now all that remains is confirmation from the man himself that he has no intentions of deserting Luton Town as we embark on a journey back into the Football League!
