John Still appears, in recent weeks, to have settled upon a striking pairing of Andre Gray and Paul Benson.

The pairing appears to be paying dividends with the Hatters on a decent unbeaten run in the Conference and both players getting on the score-sheet.

Benson was brought to Kenilworth Road, from Swindon, by Still whilst Gray was already here. Benson was, because of his age, a contentious buy but his presence alongside Gray has gien us that little something extra up front.

Gray has already scored twelve times this season and Still has spoken about the duo on glowing terms, remarking,

“Paul has come in and been a massive help to Andre, the two of them work perfectly well together.”

“It`s all right having decent front men, but it`s like having pairs, combinations and I think we do have a good combination there.”

My only fear is that come the opening of the January transfer window, somebody just might come a calling for Andre!
