Yesterday, whilst sat pondering over how I’d spend another night in lockdown mode, some sensational news broke.

Luton Town officially announced that they’d parted company with Graeme Jones and his backroom staff of Gary Brabin, Inigo Idiakez and Imanol Etxeberria.

Naturally, with such sensational news breaking, it didn’t take long for the world of social media to go into overdrive.

This morning, while delving through the multitude of posts, I found the following comment that sums up matters perfectly, at the moment:

As for me, I reckon he should have been axed months ago.

    Hi mh, just something to ponder about a new manager. Nathan Jones is currently still being paid his salary by Stoke City. He was able to turn down 2 offers of work with div 1 clubs because of this. But with this new situation Stoke are looking to reduce their outgoings like everyone. So maybe if he has been made aware of a forthcoming vacancy things could change an he may be interested in a challenge. Wait an see
