We’re living in unprecedented times.

COVID-19 is impacting upon our lives more each day.

Yesterday the decision was taken, by the Government, to close our schools.

Visiting the shops only uncovers just how panic has taken over, with the shelves stripped bare of essential products.

I can’t help thinking it’ll only be a week or so before we’re in a LockDown situation.

Depressing or what!

So, what better way to inject a bit of happiness into your lives than by reliving a memorable day back on 24-April-1988 when the Hatters took on Arsenal, at Wembley in the 1988 League Cup Final.

Sit back, enjoy and watch how the David slayed Goliath in one of the most exciting finals ever staged at the old Wembley Stadium.

Will we ever see such a spectacle again?

Please feel free to drop your memories of such a remarkable day in the comment facility beneath this article.
