The Best Side Luton Should Field Under Graeme Jones – Take Two – Al

|

Yesterday, I was pleased to be able to pluck from the comment facility the basis of an article relating to what eleven should be selected for the remainder of the season.

The article, inspired by Luton30this-is-the-best-side-luton-should-field-under-graeme-jones-or-is-it-a-chance-to-have-your-say – invited those who frequent Vital Luton Town to have their say.

Did they agree with Luton30 or did they beg to differ?

It didn’t take long for someone to respond to the challenge with Al stepping forward and offering his views on the subject matter.

Al had this to say about his forward philosophy and future team selection:

“I have selected two sides, one home and one away.”

HOME

Team – Shea, Bree, Pearson, Carter-Vickers, Potts, Brown, Butterfield, Ruddock, Shinnie, Collins, Hylton

Subs – Macca, Lua Lua, Cornick

AWAY

Team – Shea, Bree, Pearson, Cater-Vickers, Potts, Brown, Butterfield, Ruddock, Macca, Collins, Hylton

Subs – Shinnie, Lua Lua, Cornick

Further divulging his reasoning, Al further added:

“I put Shinnie in at home as he seems to go AWOL at away games… Cornick and Lua Lua as subs to be brought on later in games when opposing defences are weakening.

The Home team is 4-4-2 and the away team 4-5-1 with Hylton as the lone striker and two wide midfield as wingers when attacking.”

My thanks go to Al for his contribution.

But has Al got it spot on or do you beg to differ when it comes to his selection?

Remember Vital Luton Town is your site, it’s 100% unofficial and exists for the Hatters support to air their views, have their say and express an opinion. Also, please spread the word among your fellow Luton supporters about the aims and ambitions this site has, it would be greatly appreciated.

Are you up for a contribution, if so simply drop it into the comment facility and I’ll do the rest.
