The Hatters are on the road again today, taking on Stoke City, in a Championship fixture.

After losing at home to Cardiff City in midweek, the Hatters support will be hoping Nathan Jones can get his side back to winning ways.

After his short spell at Stoke, this would have been an excellent game when it comes to atmosphere, but, once again, we are facing the strange scenario of playing behind-closed-doors.

Luton enter this fixture unable to play Tom Ince, with the January loan signing unable to play against his parent club.

The Hatters will also be without their central defender, Tom Lockyer who picked up an ankle injury in the midweek defeat to Cardiff.

With the kick-off fast approaching we are now able to bring you the team-sheets.

Starting with our hosts Stoke City:

Continuing with Luton Town:

Three points please lads will set me up nicely for the weekend.

I hope NJ watched the Coventry game today, because he could learn something from a manager and players who wants to progress playing football instead of our defence lobbing long balls forward with no direction, the midfield giving the ball away and getting caught in position.
No decent passing forward movement or delivery to our forwards, and no invention when around the box.
That’s what its been like for weeks now, let’s hope the Stoke came is a platform for change, but again with this side I don’t believe it will be.

Absolutely rubbish…hate to say it but we look clueless at the moment. Game of 2 halves I hope….

  • Paul says:

You have to blame NJ for this shambles, Im sorry to say we need a manager who can smell the coffee
    and thats not NJ

  • Alan says:

I blame the players for that. Dh was awful rea needs shooting…..nj cant be blamed if players cant pass to each other..they all need to take a look at them selves.. 2 home games we must win both…

  • paul says:

Thats why NJ needs to make the changes, instaed of putting the same poor performers on every week.
He should start by putting Pelly and Bradley on the bench

  • Alan says:

Losing lockyer and pearson didnt help therefore no changes at the back were possible…Pelly isn’t the only midfielder off form but he seems to be everyones scapegoat…DH has been poor the past few weeks, corners, free kicks especially…Rea was terrible today.

Hi all, well I’ve been thinking about this since Tues. It seems to me that. 2 things need to change nj has to either change the system for the rest of the season to keep us up. Or no matter where we are next season if he wants to keep his system then he has to clear out this team an rebuild. Now if he did then for me apart from the young players he has brought in nombe an adebayo oisho kioso. Then the only players I would keep are the following sluga shea bree cranie lockyer potts Collins. A short list I know but over the season few have done enough to earn the right to be in this div. I know many will disagree but it’s up for debate. An this is a fans forum for fans to say what they think
