So, How Do You Believe We`re Doing?

Sitting in mid-table, some seven points behind the league leaders with seven games played, it`s hard to decide which way the coin falls with regards to what we all hope is a promotion campaign.

On one hand the fact that we`re seven points behind concerns me, nobody likes to play catch-up as it puts added pressure on the side. But on the other hand we`re starting to put a run of unbeaten games together and keeping clean sheets, which augers well for the remainder of the season.

On Saturday, in front of the BT Sport cameras, we did everything but score. On another day we`ll not play so well but win by two or three nil.

After the game, John Still, in his interview with the local media, seemed happy with the display, remarking,

‘I’m really pleased with how we played. I think we’ve got our way of playing now, which the players have got on to.”

‘The only thing we’re disappointed with is that we haven’t scored the goal that wins the game. We have people that can score, I know that we do.”

‘Overall, I’m delighted with how we’ve played.’

So, do things auger well for this season or have we started too slowly with all these draws?
