It’s fair to say that the first half of the 2018 / 2019 season, has gone remarkably well for the Hatters.

After a difficult start, when we had some doubts as to whether this season wouldn’t be anything more than a consolidatory one, Nathan Jones has steered the side to a lofty second position in the League One table.

It’s fair to say that the Hatters, for a second consecutive season, are in the race for promotion.

This afternoon, on Boxing Day, the Hatters are on the road, having to make the long trip up the east coast to take on Scunthorpe United.

After winning six games on the bounce, the general feeling is that the Hatters should make it seven on the bounce against a side that are lurking in the relegation pack.

But we’re sure that Nathan Jones isn’t taking anything for granted and will ensure complacency doesn’t creep into the Hatters game.
