With so many players leaving Kenilworth Road in recent days, it was surprising to learn that one of strikers hasn`t been offered a new contract.

Amari Morgan-Smith, who scored 10 goals in 21 games last season will be leaving Kenilworth Road.

It appears that a combination of injuries and a lack of opportunities for Amari to impress Paul Buckle since he took over from Gary Brabin is the possible reason.

At just twenty-three years of age, we suspect that Amari will have little trouble securing a deal elsewhere and we`d like to wish him well wherever he ends up.
