This Saturday the Hatters will be hoping to continue their 22-game unbeaten run, a run that has put them on the cusp of back-to-back promotions, when they make the long trip to Devon, to take on Plymouth Argyle.
The Hatters make the trip with a five-point gap, at the top of the table, over Barnsley, but Mick Harford knows one loss could see the pressure on Luton Town mount as Sunderland, who have a game in hand over Luton, look for that chink in the Hatters armour that could see them slip out of the automatic promotion places and drop into the play-off places, something we don’t want to see happen.
Plymouth, it is fair to say, have under-achieved this season, nevertheless, it would be foolish to underestimate a side that, on their day, can beat any of the League One sides.
The fixture will, in our opinion, be a tight encounter, perhaps decided by the odd goal in three.
