You can never have enough good players!

That`s why it is pleasing to hear that George Pilkington is back on the mend.

Our club captain, who hasn`t kicked a ball in anger this season, should now be back in training with Gary Brabin attributed as having remarked,

“George Pilkington should be training today, it`s his first day back, fingers crossed and touch wood, everything goes well. We don`t` want to rush him into anything We want to get in a good week`s training into him and after the week we will take another look.”

“He needs to get through a week with no ill effects.”

So York may be a game too soon but the week after????..keep those fingers crossed.
